Contribute to the Xara Xtreme Templates

We're looking to increase the number of template graphics supplied with Xara Xtreme and here's how you can help us do it. We're offering Xara users a new 'design bonus' of $100 per design that we include. Read on for information on how to create and submit your designs for consideration.

The goal of this work is to provide a wide range of ready-made documents in Xtreme, where the user can easily replace the photo and/or text with their own content, and perhaps edit a theme color or two, and that's about it. They will end up with a great professional looking result with minimum effort. We think this will help introduce a far wider range of users to Xara Xtreme and considerably enhance the usefulness of the product to a much wider audience.

These are the sorts of templates that we're looking for - you can find examples of them all in the clipart gallery folders of the same name, except for the new photo albums and collages category - examples below:

  • DVD labels and cover templates

These examples are of photo related templates, that might be used as part of a photo album or just a way to create more interesting print of your photos.


Clipart Template Design Rules

These rules must be followed by designers when creating templates for Xtreme’s clipart gallery. The rules are important in order to make sure that templates are consistent, complete and easy to customize in Xtreme by users with little or no design skills and that the customization works in the way that the user will expect.
