Example backdrop no. 2

This backdrop uses a linear transparency on the red rectangle to fade it into the black one. Because a graduated fill is used, this image will dither on 256-colour screens, and so the backdrop GIF has been made ten pixels high to minimise the patterning caused be vertical tiling. See the version of this page with a one-pixel-high backdrop for an example of the problem (view the page in a 256-colour mode).

You can download the Xara Web file used to create this backdrop (535 bytes). If you have the plug-in, the file will be displayed in your browser; right-click over the file and use 'Save Graphic as...' to save it to disc from the plug-in. If you don't have the plug-in, clicking on the link should prompt you to save the file to disc as normal.
