Xara Webster - The Quality Setting

Movie

To see a movie, click here.

Xara Webster and CorelXARA both include a Quality setting. When you move the Quality slider, the way the drawing is shown on the screen changes. If you choose a low setting, all the parts of your drawing are shown as simple outlines. As you increase the setting, more and more detail is shown including line widths, blends, bitmaps and graduated fills. When you put the Quality setting on its highest level, the drawing is also anti-aliased so all the objects have beautiful smooth edges.

Tip

  • If you want to see your drawing in outline mode, but keep your bitmaps visible, set the Quality slider to its lowest setting and then nudge it a tiny distance up.
