Dropping Scaled Copies of Objects

When you scale or stretch an object, you can drop copies of it as you scale it.

Select the object you want to scale.
Start to drag one of the scale handles and keep the mouse button held down.
Scale to the size you want and press and release the right mouse button to drop a copy.

Scaling Objects Without Scaling their Fill

You can scale an object so that the fill in the object stays still. You can see in this picture, the polygon has been scaled, but the bricks have stayed still.

Select the object you want to scale.
Start to drag one of the scale handles and keep the mouse button held down.
Press and release the ' - ' key on the number keypad.
Carry on scaling and release the mouse button when the object is the right size.
